The Imaging Core Laboratory

The imaging core laboratory for angiographic and optical coherence tomography analysis in the PRESTIGE study is located at the ISAResearch Centre of the Deutsches Herzzentrum in Munich, Germany. The lab provides state-of-the-art equipment and expertise. Research from the lab has been reported in a large number of high-impact peer-reviewed specialty journals.

The imaging lab has been under the direction of Dr Robert Byrne. Analyses regarding the PRESTIGE study is conducted in cooperation with partners Dr Giulio Guagliumi from the Cardiovascular Department of Ospedali Riuniti di Bergamo, Italy and Dr Tom Adriaenssens of the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases, University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium.
